Wardrobe Wizardry
We all want our clothes to last as long as possible. I have passed the clothes I have made my own children to friends and family members for their kiddos after mine have outgrown them (they also sell on Vinted!)
So here are our top tips (as a Mum of two) to get the most out of your Wifflepigs Colourful Clothing.
- Wash them when they are grubby - sounds silly I know, but after one wear do clothes really need washing?
- Wash inside out - when your items do need to be washed, make sure you turn them inside out. This protects your clothes from any abrasion in the washer from heavier fabrics.
- Don't use fabric conditioner. I get it, I really do. You want your clothes to smell nice. But, fabric conditioner isn't the kindest on fabric fibres.
- Don't use the tumble drier. I know how hard it is to dry clothes in the winter when it won't stop raining. But, the tumbly is terrible for frying fabric fibres too! Drying outside is best for making clothes last (and it's better for the environment). However, if the tumble drier is your only option, your Wifflepigs clothes will be okay on a cool cycle. Just try not to do it too often, it can cause shrinkage!
